New Ministry!

We are starting a new ministry that works hand in hand with our local churches and local ministry partners and we need your help! We are going to start a farm/greenhouse to help with our food pantry, outreach events, pay for the church rent and more! We touch so many people in our church community and the surrounding community that do not have the resources they should and we want to change that. They also do not have the hope of Jesus and we want to change that too! Sometimes just giving a little something can make a big change when God is involved! We think by providing some essential ingredients they need to cook, we can start a relationship with them that "ends" in eternality.
The idea is to be able to produce eggs, fish, fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants to not only give to people in need to but also give people jobs. We can use the store where we currently sell donated clothes to sell plants, compost, flowers, and more. We have people in church who are willing to help us sell them too. We are seeking to empower people who need help to work and empower our church to help us pay the bills! We have several key people already in place that will work with us every week and praying for more!
We can also use our farm to provide plants and seeds to the churches to start community gardens in every campus and do workshops to bring the community together!
Lastly, in the future we seek to use part of the property to build a terrace which can be used for leadership conferences, pastor retreats, teenager weekends and more! The idea is to offer the space to churches for free and to the public for a fee in order to help cover costs on the farm. We also have a few more ideas we are working through that work with the talents of the people we work with at church. We want to continue giving our community of believers the opportunity to use their God-given gifts to help others find Christ. We want to disciple others in the best way we can and offer spaces where people can grow or rest, depending on where they are on their journey.
This is a 5 to 8 year plan, first with purchasing the land, which we are close to doing and then starting the farm/greenhouse. As that grows, we will then move into constructing the terrace and starting the programs that go with it. WE NEED your help with purchasing farm equipment, including a truck, fencing and hoop houses. We have a donor who is willing to match any donation up to $6,500!! SO PLEASE PRAY about giving to our ministry that we pray God is going to use to change many lives for Him!
